LEE COUNTY, Fla.- State investigators will return to Lee County to continue the investigation into outgoing superintendent Dr. Joseph Burke.
A state spokeswoman tells WINK News, the Inspector General's Office will make a second trip to Lee County, to look into whether Burke mismanaged money and inappropriately suspended an investigation into a top administrator.
Last week, Burke announced he will retire in June.
