COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The Collier County School Superintendent is defending the district's decision to spend $82,000 on a new conference room.
Dr. Kamela Patton said the district was exceeding the capacity in the current conference room during certain meetings. She says they decided to re-do a storage room and turn it into a new conference room, but that came at a cost of $82,000 for technology, other labor and upgrades.
