COLLIER COUNTY, Fla - Lely High School (LHS) will host a college night for all current LHS students at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, February 10, in the LHS auditorium located at 1 Lely High School Boulevard.  This year’s event will focus on college information, dual enrollment, and advanced placement class information.  Featured speakers include: Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Director of Admissions, Marc Laviolette; Coordinator of Admissions & Enrollment at Edison State College, Ashley Sunyog; and LHS Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli.

Mr. Laviolette will speak about college admissions in general – sharing information on topics such as the process of applying to college and what admissions counselors are looking for in potential applicants.  Ms. Sunyog will discuss dual enrollment for high school students, including the process of qualifying and registering for dual enrollment classes, as well as the differences in these classes from other high school courses.  Dr. Ricciardelli will cover details pertaining to advanced placement courses for next school year.  If you’re a current LHS student or parent, you won’t want to miss out on this informative night.
