FGCU defeats Kennesaw State advancing to championship game

MACON, Ga.- The FGCU women's basketball team defeated Kennesaw State 76-53 to advance to the Atlantic Sun Championship game on Saturday. The Eagles have now won twenty in a row and haven't lost in 2012.  One more win and it's on to the NCAA tournament. 

Sophomore, Sarah Hansen once again led the Eagles in scoring with 18 points.  The Eagles improved their shooting from Wednesday's quarterfinals, shooting 48% from the field and 55% on three-pointers.  Seniors Courtney Chihil and Kelsey Jacobson combined for 7 of the 11 three-pointers the Eagles hit.

The Eagles will face Stetson in the title game, Saturday at noon.
