NEW YORK (AP) — Unreleased 1964 interviews with Jacqueline Kennedy will come out in book and audio formats next year.

Two officials familiar with negotiations tell The Associated Press that Hyperion will issue the transcripts in September 2011 and release 6½ hours of audiotape. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the deal.

The interviews were conducted in the first half of 1964, within months of President Kennedy's assassination, and covered a wide range of political and personal topics.
