FORT MYERS, Fla.- Former President Bill Clinton arrived at the Harborside Event Center to speak on President Obama's behalf Friday afternoon. He was in town to rally support for President Obama's re-election bid.

His stop in Fort Myers fell between a visit in the Palm Beach area and another in St. Petersburg.

News of the former President's visit came Thursday afternoon and that led to last minute preparations for volunteers with the Obama campaign.

The event was free and tickets were not required for entry.
