FORT MYERS, Fla. - State Authorities have now opened up an investigation into Service Star Enterprise, Inc.
WINK News Call For Action has exposed the local air-conditioning company's business practices and even caught them breaking the law.
The Attorney General's office confirmed to WINK News Wednesday afternoon that the agency is now investigating Service Star.
A spokeswoman was not able to say exactly what the investigation centers around. But we do know the AG's office has received several complaints about the business.
In July, WINK News examined how Service Star repeatedly broke state law by violating the Florida Do Not Call List.
The Company was recently fined a whopping $6,000.
Service Star Enterprise, Inc. has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. And the Charlotte County Construction Industry Licensing Board revoked the company's ability to perform new construction in the county.
