FORT MYERS, Fla. - The CEO of a company that is under investigation by the Florida Attorney General's Office is now backing out of an interview with WINK News Call For Action.
Monday Night we told you about six local women who have filed complaints against Lifestyle Lift, a facial plastic surgery company with more than 70 offices nationwide, including one in Fort Myers.
We also told you that after weeks of talking with company officials, they finally told us Monday they would grant us an on camera interview with Dr. David Kent, the CEO. But now they've backed out.
A spokeswoman with the company calls our investigation a "hatchet job" and says the CEO will no longer participate in the interview.
34 people in Florida have filed complaints with the State Attorney General's Office, saying they paid thousands of dollars for a procedure that didn't work.
If Dr. Kent ever wants to refute any of the claims made by those patients, we'll be glad to talk to him and we'll bring you the interview if that ever happens.
