LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The deadline has passed for most current Hertz employees to tell the company if they plan on relocating to Southwest Florida.

Our partners at the News-Press say 60 to 75 percent of the New Jersey workforce will not be moving. That means more jobs for people here in Southwest Florida.

About 325 Hertz employees are already working at temporary offices in Naples and Bonita Springs.

Hertz is building its new world headquarters in Estero.
