NAPLES, Fla.- The idea of placing an AT&T cell tower at a Naples elementary school has been put on hold.

The cell tower would stand 200 feet on the grounds of Naples Park Elementary School, but for now, the Collier County School District has decided to hold off on making a decision until the district comes up with a procedure regarding cell towers.

This comes after months of controversy surrounding a cell tower that went up at Poinciana Elementary.

The school district will discuss this issue at a later date and says will not move forward without input from the community.
