Today is Cyber Monday. It's a day shoppers can get a jump start on crossing off presents for others with just a click of the mouse.

It's by far the busiest sales day for online retailers and many hope everyone buys something online today, to make up for less than expected Black Friday sales. They were down 13% because more people shopped on Thanksgiving Day.

Here are some deals WINK News found this morning.

At bestbuy.com, one of their top items, a Fujifilm digital camera is selling for $120. It's usually $329. That's a savings of $210. Also at Best Buy, shoppers can get a free $10 savings code for every $100  spent.

At Target, clothes and accessories are buy one - get one 60% off. Toys are buy one - get one 30% off.

Some pretty good deals over at amazon.com. For example, $50 off a Kindle Fire, 40% off some electronics. If you're looking for any gaming consoles, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 are both 30% off.

Overstock.com is also has some awesome deals. They're offering - 40% off some electronics, an extra 35% off home furnishings and décor, and up to 45% off health and beauty products.

For those that are into shoes, head to zappos.com. They have some incredible deals on sneakers and clothing from Nike and Under Armour. Boots, bags, and dresses are also on sale.

Of course, these deals are great, but you do need to be careful shopping online so you don't get scammed or have your identity stolen. There are a few simple rules you can follow to make sure your online purchasing is safe.

First, buy from the stores you know. Go straight to a retailer's website and look for security symbols, like "https" before the URL.     Second, when you're finished, use a credit card instead of debit. Credit card companies offer more protection.

Finally, don't be afraid to take advantage of third party payment systems. Using PayPal actually helps you get a customer service representative *if* there's a problem, and will represent you if there's an argument.
