LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The man who negotiated the Hertz headquarters' move to Lee County, is retiring.
Jim Moore has been Head of Economic Development in Lee County for the past several years. He will stay until September 1, to help with the Hertz move and to encourage other companies to follow Hertz to Southwest Florida.
In his letter of resignation, Moore says he's turning 70 this summer, and he feels it is time for him to step aside.
