FORT MYERS, Fla.- Ford's Garage in downtown Fort Myers is celebrating one year in business.
Wednesday night they invited fans out for free sliders, drinks, music, and antique cars. Fort Myers Police Chief Doug Baker and WINK-FM's Gina Birch stepped onto the red carpet to show off the burgers named after them. There was even a giant patty served up to mark the occasion.
"It's been fantastic, I love what downtown has become. Our patrons have exceeded our expectations, it's been fun, it's been exciting, and it's been profitable, which is important," said Mike McGuigan, Ford's Garage managing partner.
Ford's Garage plans to open its second location this June in Cape Coral. The owner also wants to expand throughout the state with his sight's set on four locations, two of which he hopes to open by the end of the year.
