Driver taken to hospital as trauma alert after Estero rollover crash

An unidentified driver was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert after first responders found them following a rollover crash in Estero Thursday morning.

Around 3 a.m., Estero Fire Rescue, the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District and Lee County Emergency Medical Services responded to a reported vehicle rollover on I-75 at the Corkscrew Road exit. The driver was extracted and taken to the hospital.

Estero Fire Rescue urges travelers to be careful on the roads during these traffic-heavy holidays.
