28-year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash on Burnt Store Rd in Charlotte County

Florida Highway Patrol responded to a deadly crash that killed a 28-year-old man driving a pickup truck in Charlotte County Tuesday night.

State troopers responded to the deadly crash on Burnt Store Road at Vincent Avenue.

According to the FHP crash report, the driver was traveling southbound on Burnt Store Rd. and traveled off the road to the left, went back onto the road and then went off the road again, causing the truck to rollover.

The truck then hit a traffic control sign, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

There are no other details listed for cause of the crash in the FHP report.
