Credit: LCSO Two people died and another was seriously injured in a crash in Fort Myers late Monday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A pickup truck driven by a 74-year-old Fort Myers woman with a 73-year-old male passenger was attempting to turn west onto Palm Beach Boulevard from a home address around 5:40 p.m. A car driven by a 20-year-old man from LaBelle was traveling east in the inside lane of Palm Beach Boulevard. The truck violated the car’s right of way, leading the car to T-bone the truck on its left side, turning it over. Both of the truck’s occupants were pronounced dead on the scene. The LaBelle man was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation. Trust WINK News for updates
