The Florida Highway Patrol responded at 6:47 a.m. to the crash on westbound Oil Well Road at Victory Lane. Troopers said a Nissan sedan was eastbound on Oil Well when it crossed the center median and collided head-on with an SUV. The 29-year-old male driver of the sedan was killed. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers. The driver of the SUV had minor injuries and her 1-year-old passenger was not injured, troopers said.
