A man with severe injuries after being crushed by several pallets of heavy glass has been flown by a medical helicopter to the Lee Memorial Hospital. Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Naples business near 5590 Yahl St. An employee was removing pallets of heavy glass from a truck. Suddenly, one of the 600 pound pallets fell on the man, CCSO said in a statement. The employee was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital by a medical helicopter. A spokesperson for North Collier Fire Department said the victim has multiple fractures to his legs. He also suffered crushing trauma to his chest and head.
