Fort Myers Police have released a sketch of a man wanted for breaking into a woman’s house in Fort Myers.

According to FMPD, on Thursday, May 9, at around 2:30 a.m. officers with the Fort Myers Police department responded to a 911 call from a homeowner claiming a burglar was in her house.

As officer arrived on scene, they met with the distraught homeowner who reported the suspect had left from the scene. Officers set up a perimeter near the Fort Myers Country Club with the assistance of the K-9 unit and Lee County Sheriff’s aviation.

A sketch has been completed of the suspect who was described as a male with a thin build, wearing black clothes and a black and grey hat.
