Photo by WINK News via Google Maps. A second person had died after a serious crash that also left one child in critical condition in North Fort Myers April 20. According to Florida Highway Patrol, Keli Machado, 30, was pronounced dead Saturday, seven days after the crash. The driver, Jesus Machado, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jesus was driving south on the inside left turn lane in a Jeep Wrangler at U.S. 41 and Avenue A in North Fort Myers. FHP says the Jeep hit the median curb and the driver lost control, rolling over off the roadway. Jesus was ejected about 30 feet from the Jeep, which came to a rest in a ditch. A 5-year-old girl, is in critical condition, and two other children, 11- and 8-year-old boys, suffered minor injuries.
