Hancock Bridge Pkwy. back open after crash in Cape Coral

Cape Coral Police responded to the scene of a serious traffic crash with injuries Thursday.

CCPD confirmed three females and one male were all involved in the crash and taken to the hospital. One person in the crash was ejected from the vehicle they were in and suffered life-threatening injuries. Police have not confirmed the ages of those involved in the crash.

Extensive damage to trees led crews to chop two of them down.

Normal traffic has been restored after roads were shut down for several hours due to the crash near the intersection with Culture Park Boulevard.

Drivers are advised to use caution. The crash remains under investigation.
