Shooting investigation in Fort Myers. Photo via WINK News A Fort Myers man is identified as the victim of a Monday morning shooting on Central Avenue. According to Fort Myers Police Department, on at approximately 3:30 a.m. officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a call from Lee Memorial Hospital that a man came into the emergency room with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. FMPD names the victim as Barry White, 32. Shooting victim Barry White. Photo via FMPD White said he was driving east on Edison Avenue when shots were fired at him from another car at Central Avenue. White drove to Lee Memorial Hospital when he realized he was wounded. An investigation is ongoing.
