Authorities arrest two people for stealing a car in Collier County

Authorities arrested two suspects in a stolen car from Collier County Saturday evening.

Charles Henry, 42, faces charges of Resisting Arrest, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Active Arrest Warrant for Failure to Update Sex Offender Information. Terrel Brackins, 36, faces charges of DUI and Grand Theft Auto.

A North Port Police Dept. Officer recognized a stolen car from Collier County while on patrol Saturday night, the press release states, leading to a traffic stop.

NPPD, in a Facebook post, announced its appreciation to the pair for their time in the area.

“Thanks for visiting!” NPPD said.
