Ever since the government shutdown, Coast Guard families are struggling to get basic necessities. But a storefront will continue to be open until the government shutdown is over. It is open one day a week, Wednesday, for people to drop-off donations and for Coast Guard families to shop. In a matter of days, Sea Tow and other local businesses have collected countless donations, such as diapers, formula, even $8,000 in gift cards.
