Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested nurse Brian Stuber Friday after deputies say he forged a doctor’s signature to write himself a prescription for the painkiller Percocet. Stuber worked at a jail, where he provided care for inmates, but he too was put behind bars after the doctor he worked for discovered prescriptions were missing. The doctor noticed one of the prescriptions missing was used in November 2018 at a pharmacy in Collier County. Stuber forged the doctor’s signature and used the doctor’s unique DEA registration number to get the prescription drugs. Stuber was released from jail after paying a $10,000 bond.
