A woman from Fort Myers became an immediate millionaire after winning $2 million in the Florida Lottery Powerball Prize.

Kathy Kern, 60, of Fort Myers, claimed a $2 million prize from the Powerball drawing held on October 20, 2018. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball.

Kern purchased her winning ticket from Circle K, located at 19021 South Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning POWERBALL ticket.
