An incentive from Crime Stoppers hopes to put an end to non-credible school threats. Law enforcement says, they respond to 2-3 threats a day, and just this past week threats were reported at Bonita Springs Middle and another at Lehigh Acres Middle. Crime Stoppers want to get to the bottom of these non-sense threats. “School threats are a very serious matter and withholding important information on them only enables and empowers the students who are responsible for these incidents,” said one member. They are offering a reward for successfully reporting a non-credible threat that’s set at $3,000. And they say parents can play a huge role in this as well, and the “See something, Say something” has been made a theme that’s been drilled into students since Parkland.
