It has already received four bids for the project.

The City Council is expected to approve the company, Pavement Maintenance LLC., at the meeting. Pavement Maintenance submitted a $4.6 million bid for the project, which is a price in line with previous projects.

The major repaving project is a change that most homeowners WINK News spoke with, said they are excited about and do not mind funding. These homeowners said the problem with the roadways have been a problem for too long.

In Savona Parkway in Cape Coral, for instance, the roadway is smooth — until the moment a driver turns off it, when he or she will be meet with a bumpy ride. The neighborhood is among those next in line for the project.
