Weapon stolen from Sarasota law enforcement found, suspect arrested

An arrest has been made for the two weapons and some equipment that were stolen out of a Sheriff’s car on Wednesday in Sarasota.

A release sent to WINK News reports that early Thursday morning, one of the rifles were found and they have made one arrest.

The investigation is active at this moment, we will have updates as they are provided to us.
