Fort Myers Police Department officers made a burglary arrest on Wednesday evening at the Centre Point Apartments, which are located at 2121 Collier Avenue in Fort Myers. A resident of the complex reported that three males were seen attempting to open unlocked car doors, per the press release. As officers arrived on scene, the suspects fled and were pursued. One was taken into custody. A 14-year-old was arrested, as he was found with items and cash on his person that were reported stolen from vehicles in the parking lot. He was charged with burglary of an unoccupied vehicle and resisting arrest without violence, according to FMPD. The juvenile was transported to the Lee County Jail.
