Whole food grand opening It’s been years in the making and it’s finally opening it’s doors to customers today. Whole Foods is opening at Daniels Parkway and Six Mile Cypress Parkway in south Fort Myers today. The area’s growing population and available space make it an attractive option for the market store. Whole Food’s business model has prompted other grocers to follow suit. Lucky’s Market coming soon to Cape Coral, Fresh Market and Publix’s GreenWise. But, there is clearly excitement for the new Whole Foods. The new grocery store opens at 9 a.m Wednesday. Opening day will offer customers complimentary coffee, free samples, and the first 500 customers will receive a Whole Foods gift card ranging from $5 to $50 with one lucky customer getting a $500 gift card.
