With President Trump coming to town on Wednesday, if you have plans to travel at all you may want to make those plans ahead of time because traffic could become an issue.

The Secret Service is in control of the security measure ahead of the President’s arrival. Between Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Secret Service, they are not releasing many details about what we can expect.

We do know there are two options for a route to Hertz Arena from Southwest Florida International Airport, either down Ben Hill Griffin Parkway which has 2 major intersections or down I-75.

In the past, significant motorcades like this have opted for the Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy. route, due to fewer logistics in shutting down a highway.

No specifics on road closures have been given announced, but roads typically don’t shut down until Air Force One touches down and the motorcade leaves the airport.
