Crime scene tape. File photo The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of two people in Port Charlotte. CCSO says one man and one woman were found deceased at a home on the 4000 block of Gardner Blvd. Deputies went to the address for a welfare check after receiving a call by a concerned family member. There will be increased police activity in this area for a portion of the day. Deputies day there is no danger to surrounding residents, it is an isolated incident.
