A Lee County Sheriff’s deputy was forced to shoot at a vehicle that drove toward a group of people.

Deputies were investigating a scene on the 300 block of Royal Palm Park Road in Tice, around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, when a vehicle “aggressively came toward the group despite demands to stop” the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect or suspects involved are still on the loose. Law enforcement is looking for an early 2000’s silver Chevy Impala or Malibu.

The sheriff’s office did not elaborate on any injuries.
