Man identified in fatal North Fort Myers stabbing

One man was killed in a stabbing early Sunday morning on Palm Avenue, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim has been identified as Philip Ronzone, 33.

Deputies responded around 4:23 a.m. to a stabbing on the 1100 block of Palm Avenue and found a deceased male.

The two involved in the altercation were said to have known each other, and there is no longer a search for additional suspects, according to detectives.

There is no danger to the community, the sheriff’s office said.

The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear.
