Crews extinguish brush fire on 58th Ave. in Collier County. WINK News/ Kelsey Kushner Crews extinguished a 5-acre brush fire Friday afternoon in Collier County, according to the North Collier Fire Rescue District. The fire began just before 4 p.m. between 56th Avenue Northeast and 58th Avenue and was extinguished just before 5 p.m., fire officials said. The cause of the fire remains unclear. The flames threatened nearby structures, but no evacuations were ordered, fire officials said. An investigation is ongoing. UPDATE: 56th-58th Fire is out.
