Lee County detectives are investigating a death on Golden Lake Rd. near Luckett Rd.

The death was declared a homicide by the Lee County Major Crimes Unit.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 8 a.m. and found a dead man laying on the ground, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s office.
