Cape Coral police are presenting a law on Monday to stop gas station skimming. Skimming is an increasing problem and the only protection for customers is to pay with cash or look for tampering to security stickers. Cape Coral law enforcement are proposing a simple lock to prevent crooks from accessing the credit card readers. Police say if gas station owners don’t want to install the locks, they’ll have to abide by two other rules. WINK News Jessica Alpern discusses how police plan to stop skimmers.
