Police arrest naked man in Fort Myers Burger King

Police in Fort Myers arrested a 57-year-old man Thursday after witnesses say he bathed in a Burger King bathroom and exposed himself to customers and employees.

Robert Salkowski entered the Burger King at 4738 Colonial Blvd around 7:30 a.m.

He entered the restroom and was discovered to be bathing himself. He then walked into the lobby completely naked, exposing himself to customers and employees, according to the police report.

After an employee confronted Salkowski, he exited to the parking lot and attempted to steal a locked bike that was not his. He was chased away by the bike’s owner, police say.

Salkowski then entered an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot and was chased away again by the vehicle’s owner.

Police later found Salkowski down the street attempting to put on pants. He was intoxicated and resisted the officers, according to the report.

Salkowski was charged with resisting arrest without violence, exposure of sexual organs and giving a false name to law enforcement.
