Health department to offer free flu clinic in Naples, Immokalee

Published:

The Florida Department of Health will be hosting a free flu clinic Saturday in Collier County.

The clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Naples campus on 3339 Tamiami Trail East and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Immokalee campus on 419 North 1st Street.

The health department will be offering free flu shots to anyone without insurance and over the age of six months.

“We are encouraged that so many came out to our clinics last week to be vaccinated.  We want to make sure that anyone who wants a flu vaccine is able to get one,” DOH Collier administrator Stepanie Vick said. “It’s not too late to get vaccinated. Collier County is still seeing increased flu and influenza-like illness activity,” Vick said.
