File stock image A man and a woman were hurt in a motorcycle crash late Sunday night on Vincennes Boulevard, the Cape Coral Police Department said. The couple was driving around 11:56 p.m. on a Harley Davidson motorcycle along the 4400 block of Vincennes Boulevard when the driver approached a curve in the road and locked the brakes, according to police. The couple was thrown from the motorcycle after hitting a guard rail. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries while the passenger suffered serious injuries, police said. Neither person wore a helmet at the time of the crash, but both were wearing safety goggles. Alcohol or drugs were a factor in the wreck, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
