Mobile home move to temporarily close portions of Sanibel Causeway

The relocation of a mobile home will temporarily close portions of the Sanibel Causeway Friday, Sanibel police chief William Dalton said.

The move will start between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. and last about 30 minutes, according to Dalton. The relocation will require multiple deputies to be on scene and close parts of the bridge to ensure the home arrives safely on the other side.

Traffic will be impacted as minimally as possible, Dalton said. However, it is unclear what portions of the causeway will be closed.
