A man and a woman were hurt in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night on Gladiolus Drive, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s office.

The couple arrived around 8:22 a.m. to HealthPark Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries in a white Chevrolet Impala riddled with bullet holes, according to the sheriff’s office.

Another vehicle with an unknown make and model allegedly shot at the vehicle, according to witness testimony obtained by the sheriff’s office.

The female victim signed a prosecution affidavit, which means she intends to press charges, while the male signed a complaint withdrawal, and does not wish to press charges.

The shooting was not random and the investigation is ongoing, according to the sheriff’s office.
