Fort Myers man faces additional charges in McGregor Blvd. burglaries

An 18-year-old man arrested in connection with three separate burglaries is facing additional charges, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

Allan Nicholson was arrested Tuesday on additional charges relating to three separate burglaries in the McGregor Boulevard area of Fort Myers, police said.

Family members convinced Nicholson to turned himself into detectives, police said.

Nicholson faces additional charges of grand theft, burglary to an unoccupied structure, criminal mischief, dealing in stolen property and false owner information given to a pawn broker on pawned items, police said.

Before surrendering himself to police, Nicholson was out on bail after being arrested on Dec. 28.
