Stock file image. MGN LABELLE, Fla. A man was shot and later died from his injuries overnight in the Plantation Pines community. Paul Pare, 65, of Sunrise, was fatally wounded around 8 p.m. Thursday night, the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. He died after he was taken from the scene for medical care. A “person of interest” has been detained for questioning, the sheriff’s office said. Investigators continue to follow up on leads.
