CAPE CORAL, Fla. Vivian Pollichino rekindled her love for dance at 100 years old. The renewal began a few months ago when her daughter took her to a class at Rhythm in Motion, a dance studio on 912 Del Prado Blvd. “Oh God, I love it. To be able to get up on that dance floor, and just move all over the place,” Pollichino said. Bruce Monsanty, her instructor, helped bring dance back into her life. “She lights up when she dances,” Monsanty said. “She’s very sassy … and she has fun with it. She’s not afraid to try things new.” Pollichino’s health has improved since she started dancing again, according to her daughter, Denise. “Mentally she’s having a good time, and physically, she’s getting up and moving around without the use of the walker,” Denise said.
