NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office concludes the drowning of a 45-year-old woman at Paradise Marina Thursday was not malicious. The drowning happened at the Paradise Marina on the 3000 block of Orange Grove Boulevard, deputies said. “I pulled her up out of the water and grabbed her by the ankle and dragged her up to the dock and that’s when they told everybody to get off the dock,” a witness Matthew Summerall said. According to LCSO, the woman was intoxicated and slipped off of dock into the water. The drowning isn’t believed to have been foul play, deputies said.
