(CREDIT: WINK News) FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. A drop in pressure prompted a precautionary boil water notice Wednesday morning for the island, according to the Fort Myers Beach island website. Water used for drinking, cooking, making ice or washing dishes should be boiled at a rolling boil for one minute before use, according to the town’s website. The notice will remain in effect until further testing can be done to determine the water is safe to drink. It’s unclear when it will be lifted.
