FORT MYERS, Fla. One person was shot in east Fort Myers early Wednesday morning, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The incident happened at WoodSpring Suites at 9701 Orange River Boulevard. After receiving a 911 call deputies discovered a 41-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim declined to cooperate with the investigators and the man was treated by EMS. The investigation is ongoing and LCSO consideres the incident an isolated event.
