Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit & Field Support Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into a group of individuals selling large amounts of marijuana in the Estero area. ESTERO, Fla. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest two alleged top-level suppliers of a group dealing marijuana based in the Estero area. Deputies arrested Abraha Teddy Tesfazghi-Simmons, 21, and Mark Salem, 22, Thursday. “Drug trafficking will not be tolerated in Lee County and we will remain vigilant on the fight to keep the citizens safe and ensure their quality of life,” says Undersheriff Carmine Marceno. Detectives searched the home of both Tesfazghi-Simmons and Salem and seized the following: • 10,272 grams (more than 20 lbs.) of Marijuana (estimated street value of $69,000) • 80 THC resin cartridges • $106,253.00 U.S. Currency – seized for forfeiture Both Tesfazghi-Simmons and Salem are charged with Sale of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana. Salem is also charged with two counts of Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell.
